Scaffold-Fast (Ottawa) Inc. came into fruition in 1955, when Mr. Maurice Fast decided to implement his ideas to build his own company. Having spent almost 67 years in the industry, we are confident to cater to all your scaffolding needs in and around Eastern Ontario. Our family-owned business aims to help every customer with superior services and quality products. The Chouinard family has invested years of knowledge into the business to keep you happy. We believe in building long-term relationships with our customers. Our 40 employees work with the vision to serve you with quality scaffolding solutions in the area.

Our Years in Business

1981 - Acquisition

Denis Chouinard acquired the company.

2002 - New warehouse

A new 15,000 square foot warehouse was set up.

1955 - The first branch

Mr. Maurice Fast founded the company in Ottawa.

1965 - Development

Mr. Denis Chouinard moved from Quebec City to Ottawa to oversee the company's growth.

2005 - New generation

The company comes under the guidance of Nicolas Chouinard (second generation).

2019 - Succession

The third-generation with Maxime Chouinard is ready to take over the reins.

Our Engagement

We stay with you from the start of your project till the last brick is laid. Our support services are available throughout your project, without any extra charges. You do not have to worry about anything when you work with us. We understand our responsibility and are always available to assist you.

We also offer rental services to help you with convenient and easy solutions. If you prefer to pick up the equipment yourself, our warehouse is equipped with four loading docks, and our team has the expertise required to advise you.
